Geocodearth is an online screensaver which allows you to see Twitter photos and tweets posted by your social media contacts from everywhere in the globe they posted the information. So you can actually post from everywhere on the planet, you just need to download Geocodearth onto your computer. This software is a desktop application. You can install it onto a PC or a laptop as well. You can even run this program from a web browser if you so desire. Once it's installed you simply need to click'start' and it will begin to automatically update itself.
This program is really very cool and has some unique features. For example, you can actually control the Geocodearth screensavers by clicking on the title bar or by dragging items around the screen. It also has a nice functional feature which lets you turn off the main'screen saver' for each country individually. If you like, you can even change the background image to something else every day. It would be nice to have a 'dismiss' option at the bottom of each country's screensavers, so you can simply turn off that particular country's image if you wish.
The Geocodearth software does have its limitations - for example, it only updates at certain times during the day. There are also no real option to download and save images to your computer. But it is fun, interesting and definitely a step above your average free windows screenavers. To download, first click on the link below and save the image to your computer. Then you can use the Geocodearth images with your Twitter account, Facebook profile and with any other social networking websites you frequent.
